Cheyenne Passenger Rail Station Site Selection Study

Summary of Project

A Growing Need for a Transportation Solution

As communities grow, a new passenger train will connect Cheyenne to Colorado and beyond.  It will connect us to opportunities, adventure and each other.  Are you ready to leave delays and heavy traffic behind?

We are too, so we’re planning for a future of safe, reliable and climate-conscious travel.

Planned Front Range Passenger Rail service may extend from Pueblo to Cheyenne with stops in Colorado Springs, Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins. The Federal Railroad Administration is also studying future passenger rail routes connecting Cheyenne with Salt Lake City, Billings, Rapid City and beyond. Funding has not yet been secured for future passenger rail services.
