Online Citizens Advisory Committee (Beta Test)

How would YOU improve transportation in the Cheyenne area? Join our Online Citizens Advisory Committee, and you’ll have a chance to assist our Transportation Planners with bringing improvements to our area.  We’ll discuss concerns about biking, driving, roadway safety, pedestrian access and more, and we’ll work together to create a solution that can benefit our entire community.

Cheyenne MPO Online Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) serves as a primary public participation forum for transportation products and plans for the Cheyenne Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). It will serve as the liaison between the Cheyenne MPO and the residents of the urban area and its members will be vigilant to represent the citizens of their area, both geographically and ideologically. The CAC will convey to the MPO the goals and wishes of the citizens in the Cheyenne Metropolitan area regarding transportation issues.  The committee will serve to make comments regarding MPO plans or products to the MPO Policy Committee.

The MPO develops 3-4 transportation plans per year.  Members of the CAC would need to review each plan and would need to be respond to 2 surveys per plan. The first survey is to determine the direction of plan components. The second survey is to finalize plan components.  Each survey would take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Note: Applicants must live within the Cheyenne MPO boundary.
