"PlanCheyenne" was awarded the Daniel Burnham Award for a Comprehensive Plan at the American Planning Association's National Planning Awards Luncheon held in Philadelphia on April 17, 2007. There to receive the Award, pictured left to right were Carol Rhea, Chair for the 2007 National Planning Awards Jury, Mike Abel - City Planning Services Director, Tom Mason - MPO Director, Lesli Ellis of Clarion, Mayor Jack Spiker - MPO Policy Committee Chairman, Matt Ashby - Urban Planning Director, Ken Lewis - Planning and Development Director, Martin Matsen - City/County Development Director, Ben Herman of Clarion, and David Siegel, President of the APA.
