E. Pershing Boulevard Corridor - Road and Intersection Design Project
Pershing Blvd. is an important transportation corridor because it directly links the west side to the east side of Cheyenne . Besides vehicular travel, the roadway is a public transit route and is designated to contain a multi user pathway.
The study area will consist of E. Pershing Blvd. from Dunn Ave. to Converse, and will fold in the previous plan 2005 prepared for the intersections of Pershing Blvd., Converse Ave. , and 19 th Street . This plan will develop long range solutions to improve the motorized and non-motorized movements and safety within the study area. The plan will be developed to take into account future conceptual plans for the redevelopment and reconstruction within the study area.
At least two public meetings will be held in order to obtain information about neighborhood priorities and provide information about the project to the public.
